Last week, Beam was at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida for the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) annual conference. We partnered with UTARI and are proud to support their efforts working with the Wounded Warrior Project. Beam made it possible for attendees to “beam” into the UTARI research facility in Texas and communicate with staff in real time conversations. AUVSI represents not only the opportunity to enhance business through connections but also the facilitation of the integration of systems. These technology partnerships are key in the efforts to create a safer environment for our military as well as society. The conference reported an expected amount of over 8,000 participants from 55 countries such as Europe, Asia, North America, South America, Australia, and Africa. This experience was a unique opportunity for us to collaborate with colleagues from around the world and interact with the latest technological advancements.
These advancements are seen in the specific applications in the worlds of civil service, government/military, commercial, and academia. We were honored to have have had the opportunity to not only answer questions about our technology and relevant applications, but also learn about the up and coming technology developed by students and companies. Many attendees took advantage of the great location and enjoyed the wizardry world of Harry Potter. We are looking forward to what great innovations and knowledge leading experts we can expect for 2015.
