During the beginning of this month, Beam traveled all the way to Kansas City, Missouri, for the Global Coworking Unconferenced Conference (GCUC). We had 4 beams there and not only did we enjoy the historical sights at the Airline History Museum but also participated in workshops. People were impressed by just how easy we were able to participate in ongoing discussions. We were happy to help two young professionals (with Commons Calgary) from Canada attend the event via Beam. Due to unforeseen circumstances that came up last minute, they realized that they were unable to travel to Kansas City. Beam was able to come to the rescue so Erynn and her brother could attend the conference remotely and participate from their homes in Canada.
This experience highlighted the prominence of creative thinkers all around us. We are honored to have been immersed among many remarkable minds from around the world who share the goal of creating and sharing leading edge ideas. Although we did not fly out on one of the incredible aircrafts such as the rare TWA DC-3 (also known as Douglas), we did join the Conga line as the grand finale of the conference.
